Frederick
Funeral Homes is a family-owned, family-managed organization, assuring
truly personalized funeral service that is most helpful to families
in time of need. The special brand of service is made possible through
the concerned effort of Frederick F. Passarella, Sr., and his son
Fred F. Pasarella, Jr.
Frederick F. Passarella, Sr. founded the Frederick Funeral Home of
Corona, Queens, New York in 1926. Since that time, his son Fred F.
Passarella has continued the family tradition by serving the area
families faithfully and well, guided always by the belief that every
family, of every faith and of every income group, is entitled to dignified,
appropriate funeral service.
Fred Passarella had the insight that a larger, newer facility was
needed to satisfy the growing neighborhood. Frederick Funeral Home
of Flushing was built in 1960, it’s intention was to be one
of the largest facilities. Today it is still one of the most accommodating
facilities. We have the ability to accommodate large groups of people,
we are handicap accessible and we have a large parking area. Service
and comfort were and still are a priority.
Harden Funeral Home of Bayside was taken over by Mr. Passarella in
1976. The need to expand was endless, requiring a Bayside facility
to cover the demands of the growing families.
Our Long Island Branch, Beney Funeral Home of Syosset, was established
in 1980 after the Beney family retired. Our need to services our families
has no geographical limits.
When the Hatton Funeral Home closed in 2003, the Harden Funeral Home
obtained all the previous records as well as the pre arrangements
for the convenience of the Bayside families. Any information needed
on previously serviced loved one’s can be obtained with just
a phone call. All this information can be found at the Hatton/Harden
Funeral Home.
